The No Surprises Act is designed to protect patients from unexpected bills for out-of-network healthcare services. In scenarios where you receive occupational therapy services in an emergency setting, or unknowingly from an out-of-network provider in an in-network facility, this Act prevents surprise billing. You are protected from being billed at out-of-network rates for these emergency services. Additionally, the Act emphasizes transparency in healthcare pricing, ensuring that patients receive clear information about the expected costs of services. For more details on your rights under this act, please visit CMS.gov or call the No Surprises Help Desk at 800-985-3059.
As a provider who is not enrolled with these systems, I am not permitted to accept payment from their beneficiaries.
I am an out-of-network provider and do not take insurance at this time. If you are interested in submitting receipts to your insurance company for reimbursement, I can provide you with a superbill and any other necessary letters or documentation at your request. There is no reimbursement guarantee and coverage is dependent upon your insurance plan.
We can provide a superbill and any other necessary letters or documentation for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. However, coverage is dependent upon your insurance plan.
